How I approach the work

People Operations as intelligence

The direction is an operating model that helps people understand the work, make better decisions and improve the employee experience.

01

People

Keep the employee's needs as the starting point.

The goal is useful support at the moment someone needs it. I begin with the employee or manager's task, then ask what information, guidance and coordination would make that moment easier.

02

Signals

Turn operational evidence into useful questions.

Requests, exceptions and incomplete handoffs can reveal where the operating model needs attention. I explore ways to surface those patterns without confusing a dashboard metric with an explanation of what the team should do next.

03

Systems

Build on reliable records and accountable workflows.

Intelligence is only useful when the underlying information and processes are dependable. I keep sources, permissions, ownership and completion conditions visible so a prototype can be evaluated against a real operating need.

04

Decisions

Help the responsible person choose the next step.

This is an area of ongoing building and experimentation, not a claim that every decision is automated. The aim is to prepare useful context and options, with a person accountable for the decision and a clear way to verify the outcome.
